What to know before relying on the output.

Is debt avalanche always mathematically cheaper?

When debts and payments behave as modeled, prioritizing the highest APR generally minimizes modeled interest. Real-world promotional rates, fees, minimum-payment changes and behavioral factors can change the practical result.

Does a payoff estimate include every lender rule?

No. Calculators do not know future variable rates, fees, payment allocation rules, deferments or lender-specific changes unless you enter or model them.

Should I drain emergency savings to pay debt faster?

The calculators show payoff math, not a recommendation to eliminate liquidity. Emergency reserves and near-term obligations should be considered separately.
